An engine was not provided with the project purchase, so one must be chosen. To date, no engine has been purchased, meaning no commitments have been made.

Lycoming IO-360

The preferred engine. Parts are available. Maintenance is easy.

If the only affordable engine available is an O-360, it’s possible to upgrade to an IO-360.

Continental IO-360

Might have cylinder problems. Six cylinders makes for a smoother ride than four cylinders.

UL-Power UL520iS

Nice but expensive.

Viking 195T

Local to Florida. No hydraulic constant-speed propeller support. I don’t love how the owners interact with the community.

Aeromomentum AM20T

Local to Florida. No hydraulic constant-speed propeller support. Makes a lot of horsepower.
